Generating Spreadsheets Specifying QSOs To Which WAZ Credits Have Been Granted
The CQ WAZ Award Manager will accept an update spreadsheet file that specifies 40 QSOs to which WAZ Credit has previously been granted for a particular WAZ Award. DXKeeper's WAZ Credits function will automatically generate an update spreadsheet for each WAZ Award whose box is checked in the WAZ Bands & Modes panel on the Configuration window's Progress tab, and a WAZ Credit Report that summarizes the content of all generated spreadsheets.
To generate update spreadsheets,
terminate SpotCollector
in the WAZ Bands & Modes panel on the Configuration window's Progress tab, check the boxes of those WAZ awards for which WAZ credit has been granted (meaning that you have 40 QSOs whose WAZVerified items are set to 'V')
click the Credits button in the CQ WAZ panel on the Main window's Check Progress tab
set the checkboxes in the WAZ Bands & Modes panel on the Configuration window's Progress tab to reflect your WAZ award objectives
In its Reports folder, DXKeeper will generate an update spreadsheet file in comma-separated format that can be loaded into a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel. The name of each file will be in this format:
<StationCallsign>_WAZ_CREDIT_<WAZ Award>_<Date>
where
<StationCallsign> is the callsign specified in the Station callsign setting on the Configuration window's Defaults tab
<WAS Award> is Mixed, a single band (like 160M), a single mode (like CW), or a band-mode combination (like 40M_RTTY)
<Date> is the current date in ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD)
You must specify your name, the award type and number, and your email address in the first three rows of each generated update spreadsheet before submitting it to the CQ WAZ award manager.
DXKeeper will also generate a WAZ Credit Report in its Reports folder; this report shows the contents of each update spreadsheet that was generated.
