On Moving to a New Location
- If your new location is in a different DXCC entity than your previous location,
direct DXKeeper to create a new log file
Configure DXKeeper to use your new Station Location when submitting new QSOs to LoTW
On the General tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window, update the contents of the Operator location panel
On the General tab of DXView's Configuration window, update the contents of the QTH panel; this will immediately update the Lat, Lon, and Grid Square settings in the Your Station panel on the Parameters tab of PropView's Configuration window
If DXView has not been installed and configured, specify your QTH's Grid Square in the Your Station panel on the Parameters tab of PropView's Configuration window and then strike the Enter key to update the Lat and Lon parameters; alternatively, specify the Latitude and Longitude in the Lat and Lon texboxes respectively, and then and strike the Enter key to update the Grid Square.
Note that awards like VUCC and WAS impose limits on the distance between your previous and new QTHs.
If you are pursuing VUCC awards and have relocated to a new location that is more than 200 km away from your previous location, see the If You Move to a New Location section in this article
If you are pursuing WAS awards and have relocated to a new location that is more than 50 miles away from your previous location, see the If You Move to a New Location section in this article.
