Preventing Windows from Reducing the Resolution of an Application's Windows
If the display resolution of an application's windows is lower than that of the Window Desktop,
- close the application
- using Windows Explorer, navigate to the application's folder, and right-click the entry for its executable file
in the pop-up menu that appears, click the Properties command at the bottom; a Properties window will appear
in the Properties window, select the Compatibility tab
on the Compatibility tab,
check the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings box
click the OK button
