Submitting an LotW DXCC Application from the LotW web site

1. You can submit your DXKeeper-generated LotW Submission from the LotW web site. LotW will have already chosen a set of confirmed QSOs for you to submit, but this set may not be optimal, especially if you will also be submitting an application with QSL cards. To see which QSO's LotW has chosen for you to submit

   1. login to LotW via https://lotw.arrl.org/lotwuser/default

   2. select the Awards tab

   3. in the panel on the left entitled Your LoTW ARRL DXCC (DX Century Club) Account(s), select the appropriate callsign (if you have more than one) and then click the Select DXCC Award Account button to display a page entitled Your Logbook DXCC Account

   4. in the Award Account Menu on the left, click the Application button

2. you should now see a page entitled DXCC Award Application -- Part 1 that lists confirmed but unverified QSOs with an unchecked box next to each one (see note below)

   • If these are exactly the same QSOs proposed for submission by DXKeeper, then
     1. check each QSO's box

     2. click the Continue button, and proceed with the submission in step 6 below

   • If you instead wish to submit a different set of LotW confirmations (including some of the ones LotW proposes to submit), then follow the procedure described here

3. When all the LotW-confirmed QSOs you wish to submit have been processed via the above workflow, verify that LotW's proposed submission now matches yours (as generated by DXKeeper):

   1. select the Awards tab

   2. in the panel on the left entitled Your LoTW ARRL DXCC (DX Century Club) Account(s), select the appropriate callsign (if you have more than one) and then click the Select DXCC Award Account button to display a page entitled Your Logbook DXCC Account

   3. in the Award Account Menu on the left, click the Application button

4. You should now see a page entitled DXCC Award Application -- Part 1 that lists confirmed but unverified QSOs with an unchecked box next to each one (see note below); if this list does not match your intended submission, return to step 3 and make the necessary correction. If it does match, then

   1. check each QSO's box

   2. click the Continue button

5. a page entitled DXCC Award application -- Part 2 will appear;

   1. if the statement This award account is not linked to a DXCC record appears

      1. if you've never submitted QSL cards or LotW confirmations for DXCC award credit, then simply click the Continue button

      2. if you've submitted QSL cards or LotW confirmations for DXCC award credit, you must link your LotW award account to your DXCC record before you can continue:

         1. double-click the link it hyperlink to display the Link Account page

         2. complete the form shown on the Link Account page

         3. click the Request Linking button

         4. you will not be able to proceed until you receive confirmation from the ARRL that your account has been linked

   2. enter the required information, and click the Continue button

6. a page entitled DXCC Award application -- Part 3 will appear; complete its form, and click the Continue button

7. a page entitled DXCC Award application -- Part 4 will appear; complete its form, and click the Submit Application button

Note: as of November 2008, the awards shown as "covered" by each listed QSO are occasionally inaccurate; ignore this.
