Configuring WinWarbler to Automatically Select Settings When a New Primary Radio is Selected in Commander
Commander can be configured to rapidly switch among four simultaneously-connected primary radio. You can configure WinWarbler to automatically update its settings in response to the selection of a new primary radio. To display WinWarbler's MultiRadio Configuration window, click the MultiRadio button along the bottom of the Configuration window's General tab. In the MultiRadio Configuration window,
on the General tab, uncheck the Enabled button
on the PTT tab, specify each primary radio's mode for RX-TX switching and, if required, the serial port to be used
on the Soundcard tab
select the soundcard used for PSK & RTTY Reception by each primary radio
select the soundcard used by 2Tone for RTTY reception by setting the Main window's Operating Mode panel to RTTY, and then repeating these steps for each primary radio:
on the Configuration window's RTTY tab,
check the 2Tone panel's enabled box
click the 2Tone panel's 2Tone Setup button
in the 2Tone Settings window's Receive Settings panel, select the soundcard to be used with the primary radio, and then click the OK button along the bottom of the window
in the 2Tone Reception panel on WinWarbler's MultiConfiguration window's Soundcard tab, click the appropriate radio's Set but
select the soundcard used for PSK & RTTY Transmission by each primary radio
select the soundcard used for Phone Transmission by each primary radio
on the Startup Macros tab, specify a PSK, RTTY, CW, and Phone startup macro for each primary radio
on the PSK tab, specify the transceiver mode to be use for each primary radio when operating in PSK
on the RTTY tab, specify the Modulation, Transceiver Mode, Mark Offset, Optimal Offset, aand FSK Control to be used for each primary radio when operating in RTTY
on the CW tab, specify the Mode, Serial Port, and WinKey Output Ports to be used by each primary radio when operating in CW
on the Phone tab, specify the transceiver mode and Assert PTT settings to be use for each primary radio when operating in Phone
on the General tab, check the Enabled button
