Conducting a DXCC Sprint
de Paul N1BUG
If you decide to see how many DXCC entities you can work during a particular time interval, or if your DX Club holds a competition along those lines, you can configure DXLab to identify new DXCC entities with this procedure:
terminate all DXLab applications except the DXLab Launcher, and direct the Launcher to save all settings to your current Workspace; if you haven't yet created a Workspace, direct the Launcher to create one and then save all setting to it
Using the Log tab of DXKeeper's Configuration window, direct DXKeeper to create and open a new log file
Configure DXKeeper for your DXCC objectives during the Sprint
On the Spot Database tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window,
set the Log file referenced for award progress panel to use the new log file you created in step 2
click the Recomputation panel's Recomp button
SpotCollector will now highlight as needed for DXCC any station not yet worked during the interval, according to the DXCC objectives you've specified.
At the completion of the Sprint,
On the Check Progress tab of DXKeeper's Main window, click the DXCC, Challenge, & TopList panel's Progress button to generate a progress report
Using the Export tab of DXKeeper's Main window, export all QSOs to an ADIF file
Terminate all applications except the DXLab Launcher, and direct the Launcher to load all settings from the Workspace to which all settings were saved at the beginning of the Sprint
Start DXKeeper, which should open the log file you were using before the Sprint; using the Main window's Import tab, import the ADIF file you exported in step 2 above
On the Spot Database tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window, click the Recomputation panel's Recomp button
